Falling Stage on a Comprehesive Scope 2 Microscope

Learn how to quickly fix a falling stage caused by loose focus knobs on the T-19000C Comprehensive Scope 2 series.

In rare instances, the tension ring that holds the focusing knobs on our Comprehensive Scope 2 models (T-19000C series) can come loose. This causes the stage to fall, and the microscope will not hold its focus position. The set screw that engages the tension ring has also been known to come loose. This set screw can be tightened using a size 0.50 (1.27mm) Allen wrench or hex key. Below is a brief video describing how to fix a falling stage.
