Experiments–Spinning Eggs

Students are getting restless, and spring break is near.  It’s time to bring out your magic and perform an unbelievable discrepant event to keep everyone engaged!  Now remember to NOT tell your audience what is going to happen and let their minds explore the possibilities.


What you will need:

1 Raw Egg

1 Hard-Boiled Egg

 

Do Not tell your audience the difference between the two eggs.

  1. Place the raw egg on the demonstration table and spin the egg.
  2. After 30 seconds, touch the raw egg with your fingertip to stop the spinning.
  3. Place the hard-boiled egg on the demonstration table and spin the egg.
  4. After 30 seconds, touch the hard-boiled egg with your fingertip to stop the spinning.
