Sister Martina Rockers Excellence In Teaching Award

Ken-A-Vision’s Sister Martina Rockers – Excellence in Teaching Award honors a STEM teacher, in middle or high school, who demonstrates excellence in STEM teaching and student-centered instruction. Started in 2003, the award is named after Sister Martina Rockers of Bishop Miege High School in Kansas City. In over 60 years of teaching science, Sister Martina inspired and challenged her students to learn in and outside the classroom.

The Ken-A-Vision Rockers Award offers one award winner a trip to NSTA Nationals Convention, a cash prize and Ken-A-Vision products, a personalized engraved plaque, and many more benefits.

Ken-A-Vision will recognize the award winner at a meet and greet in Ken-A-Vision’s booth at NSTA Nationals Convention and be accompanied by Ken-A-Vision representatives to an all expense paid dinner.
